What is the high voltage load switch?
High voltage load switch is a kind of function between high voltage circuit breaker and high voltage disconnecting switch, high voltage load switch is often used in series with high voltage fuse; Used to control power transformers. The high voltage load switch has a simple arc extinguishing device, so it can turn on and off certain load current and over load current. But it can not disconnect the short circuit current, so it is generally used in series with the high voltage fuse, with the help of the fuse to short circuit protection.
2. Classification of general high voltage load switches
1.EI class universal load switch: A universal load switch suitable for normal continuous feeding of distribution systems without frequent opening and closing operation.
2. Class E2 Universal load switch: a universal load switch that does not require maintenance or repair of the broken parts of the main circuit and requires little maintenance for other parts during the expected service life.
Level 3. E3: possess larger frequent opening and closing of general load switch close short circuit current and high frequency power of general load switch | flute.
4.M1 class universal load switch: universal load switch with 100 (operation) mechanical life.
5.M2 class universal load switch: universal load switch 3 for special use with 50 times extended mechanical life. General purpose load switches with rated voltage up to 40.5kV have the following on and off capabilities:
(1) The rated active load breaking current is equal to the rated current;
(2) The rated no-load transformer breaking current is equal to 1% of the rated current; (3) The closed-loop breaking current of the rated distribution line is equal to the rated current;
(4) Rated cable charging breaking current and rated line charging breaking current are shown in the following table;
(5) The rated short-circuit closing current is equal to the rated peak tolerance current.
